Built on love and loyalty, the relationship you share with your pet is a special bond that creates unforgettable memories. Powerful emotions are unleashed when a pet passes, and it’s normal and healthy to grieve when the time comes. It’s also important to remember that you aren’t alone. We’re here to help ease the burden.
Losing a beloved pet can be heartbreaking, and every pet owner’s journey through grief is different. One way to help yourself focus on positive memories is to develop a lasting memorial to your pet. Remembering all the good times you shared can bring smiles even in a time of sadness.
Many resources are also available to help you and your family through this difficult time. If you need further assistance or counseling, don’t hesitate to speak with your veterinarian or a grief professional in your area.
A private procedure is when only one animal’s body is present in the process. The animal is uniquely identified throughout the process. This results in the animal’s remains being the only remains processed and returned to you.
A partitioned procedure during which more than one animal’s body is present in a larger unit and the remains of specific pets are still able to be returned. A method of separation is used between each pet and the remains of each pet are identifiable, retrievable, processed and returned safely.
A communal procedure is when multiple pets are processed together. Think of it as an opportunity for your loving pet to cross over with the support of others. In this case, remains are not returned.
